Travis’ Ginger Chicken and Rice:

5 lbs chicken

2 cups long-grain white rice

Marinade Ingredients:

1 white onion, chopped

1 bunch of cilantro, chopped

1 cup of soy sauce

1 cup water

1 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1/2 table to 1 tablespoon freshly minced or grated ginger depending on taste

Salt and pepper to taste, keeping in mind soy sauce had already added some salt to marinade

Mix marinade and add 5 pounds of chicken thighs or breast if preferred, marinade for at least one hour.While marinating, cook 2 cups of preferred rice to serve with chicken.Grill chicken at about 380 degrees, 15 mins per side or until done.For additional ginger sauce: boil leftover ginger marinade for at least 5 minutes to kill bacteria, boiling longer will create thicker sauce if desired.#RondaRousey #TravisBrowne #Chicken
