Convert Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to Vanilla Gnome 3 Desktop Environment
Datapioneer | 1 month ago
In this video I show you how to take an out-of-the-box experience with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS installed on bare metal or a hypervisor (as I have done here in VirtualBox 6.0) with the very customized Ubuntu Gnome 3 DE and convert that to a vanilla Gnome 3 DE instead.

===Errata===
In the video where I show you how to unmount the loop devices associated with snap, I failed to purge snapd before reviewing the block devices again with the lsblk command. I corrected that in the video, but wanted to point out that I said that I removed snapd when, in fact, I had not until running the CLI command: sudo apt remove snapd. Unmounting the loop devices does not remove these loop devices, just allows them to be removed when snapd is purged from the system and was revealed a bit later in the video.
