FCC Proposes Digital AM Radio with Analog Shut Off

FCC Proposes Digital AM Radio with Analog Shut Off

Antennaman | 3 months ago

In this video I talk about the recent FCC proposal that would allow AM radio stations to turn off their analog signal and broadcast exclusively in digital. This would require a new digital radio unless someone already has an HD radio. If this proposal goes through will it be the end of AM radio as we know it?
