RCA Digital Signal Preamplifier for Outdoor Antennas Review

This is my review of the RCA Digital Signal Preamplifier for Outdoor Antennas model TVPRAMP12E. It costs about $25 and is meant to amplify the signal from an outdoor antenna to make up for signal loss in a long coaxial cable. In many cases a preamp can bring you more channels if you have a long cable going from the antenna to your TV sets. How well does this amplifier work?
